Understanding the Stages of Dementia

Dementia moves in stages, from mild memory issues to severe dementia. A standard method for this is the Global Deterioration Scale, which breaks dementia into seven stages. New treatment approaches for brain-related illnesses will be presented during the Neurodegenerative Diseases Conference. Caregivers and healthcare workers need to understand these stages to give proper help and care. The Dementia World Conference (DWC) intends to explore these stages, helping participants to understand how dementia progresses and find ways to manage symptoms at all stages.
